Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using Refile(the "Service") operated by Refile("we", "us", or "our").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The service

Refile is a SaaS inspection and renewal tracking tool for property managers. It allows you to track inspection records, renewal dates, and receive automated email reminders.

2. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Notify us immediately at hello@refileapp.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

You may not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in any way that violates these Terms. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Subscriptions and billing

The Service is offered on a subscription basis. Fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis and are non-refundable except as required by law or as set out in our refund policy.

We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

Free trials are available for new accounts as described on our pricing page. At the end of a free trial, your account will revert to the free tier unless you subscribe to a paid plan.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of all data and content you submit to the Service ("Your Content"). By submitting Your Content, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display it solely to provide the Service to you.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of Your Content. We do not review or verify the content you submit.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its related systems.
Transmit viruses, malware, or other malicious code.
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
Scrape, copy, or redistribute content from the Service without our written permission.

6. Intellectual property

The Service and its original content (excluding Your Content) are and will remain the exclusive property of Refile and its licensors. Our name, logo, and other trademarks may not be used without our prior written consent.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

Inspection and renewal tracking information provided by the Service is for informational purposes only. You remain solely responsible for complying with applicable laws and regulations.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Refile shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time by contacting us at hello@refileapp.com.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the applicable courts.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
